Renault Megane III RS 265 (facelift)
The third generation of the Renault Megane was as C-Segment car launched in 2008 and received a facelift in 2014.
The Renault Megane III RS 265 (facelift) launched in 2014, replacing the RS 265 and featuring visual and minor mechanical updates. Like it’s predecessor, it was fitted with the 2.0 liter 16v twin-scroll turbo F4Rt engine producing 265 hp (195 kw) of power and 360 Nm of torque, combined with a 6 speed manual gearbox. The car accelerated from 0-100 km/h in 6,0 seconds and could reach a top speed of 254 km/h (158 mph). The Cup variant came with a stiffer chassis, track focused suspension, a limited slip differential and a slightly lighter gross weight.
Visually, the car featured the redesigned headlights, new grille and new boot from the rest of the facelifted Megane III range. Inside there was an updated R-Link multimedia system, Recaro seats with dual leather-fabric upholstery. The optional R.S. Design pack came with special body components in red paint, including the F1 blade, the lower door protections and the rear spoiler.
Later in 2014, Renault launched two lighter and more powerful, track focused versions of the model – the Renault Megane III RS 275 Trophy and the Renault Megane III RS 275 Trophy R.
