Abarth 595 esseesse debuts in Geneva
Abarth announced the 595 esseesse which will debut at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show as part of the celebrations for the brand’s 70th anniverssary.
The 595 esseesse is a successor to the 500 esseesse which premiered in 2008 at Geneva, and a distant descendant of Abarth’s tuning kit from 1964. The new flagship of the 595 range is fitted with the turbocharged 1.4 liter engine producing 180 hp / 132kw which is identical to the 595 competizione.
However, the esseesse comes equiped with a custom Abarth by Akrapovic exhaust system providing an even more exciting sound, a high-performance Brembo front braking system with perforated and ventilated brake discs and red calipers, as well as a specific air cleaner by BMC that improves the intake air flow capacity. Additionaly, the esseesse is fitted with Koni FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) rear suspensions.
Visually, the Abarth 595 esseesse is distinguished by the 17″ Supersport alloy wheels finished in Racing White, the white Abarth side strips and the matching mirror caps, front and rear DAM.
Inside, we find the 7″ Uconnect HD touchscreen system (with Apple Carplay and Android Auto support) that includes navigation and Abarth Telemetry, the amazing Sabelt 70 seats with carbon rear shell as well as carbon pedals.
