Abarth launches the updated 595 range for 2021

Abarth launched the updated 595 range for 2021, available in Turismo, Competizione and Esseesse trim levels, in hatchback and cabrio bodystyles, with new colors and materials.

Under the bonnet, we find the 1.4 T-jet engine (Euro6D Final) producing 145 PS in the 595, 165 PS in the Turismo, and 180 PS in the Competizione and Esseesse. The later models equipped with the Garrett GT1446 turbine also get mechanical self-locking differential, Koni FSD shock absorbers, and Brembo brakes with fixed aluminum calipers. All versions are combined with a manual transmission as standard, but can also get an automatic with paddles behind the steering wheel.

The 595 Turismo with twin tailpipes is equipped with leather seats available in different colors including the new Helmet Brown.

The 595 Competizione is available with the new exterior color Blu Rally – a matte blue shade inspired by the FIAT 131 Abarth Rally from the ’70s – and gets the new Montecarlo 17″ wheels inspired by the Lancia Delta Integrale from the ’90s, fender extensions, and quadruple tailpipes. Inside we find the new Scorpion mode selector, Alcantara upholstery on the dashboard, leather seats, and aluminum or carbon-fiber shift knob.

The Esseesse can be distinguished by the two large titanium tailpipes from Akrapovic.

All versions get the latest Uconnect infotainment system with a 7″ touch screen, DAB radio, navigation, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility and, new graphics for the start and stop screens. The BeatsAudio sound system with 480 Watts and an 8-channel amplifier is optional (2 x tweeters in the A-pillars, 2 x 165 mm mid-woofers, 2 x 165 mm full-range at the rear sides, and 1 x 200 mm subwoofer in the spare wheel compartment.
