Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce S Edition for Australia
Alfa Romeo launched the Giulietta Veloce S Edition with a limited production of 30 units destined for the australian market. The car is heavily based on the Giulietta Veloce (2015) which was the facelifted version of the Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde (2010), offering more equipment and a few styling tweeks.
“The Giulietta Veloce S Edition is a sporty addition to the Giulietta line-up that’s sure to excite drivers looking for a car that exudes sophistication,” said Guillaume Drelon, Director, Brand & Product Strategy.
Under the bonnet, the 1750 Turbo engine produces 177 kw (240 PS) of power and 340 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels through a 6-speed TCT gearbox with the help of an electronic Q2 front differential. The car is equipped with launch control, red Brembo front brake calipers and sports suspension setting. The Veloce S Edition also features a new Magneti Marelli ‘Elaboraziono 1919’ sport exhaust system offering improved sound in combination with the intake sound generator.
On the exterior, there is a carbon look headlight cluster with bi-xenon headlights and LED daytime running lights, rear diffuser, privacy glass on rear side windows and rear hatch window, black window surrounds and dark gloss trim on the door handles and fog light surrounds. Specifically for the Veloce S Edition the 18″ dark miron wheels with red motif is combined with red Giulietta and Veloce badges, red decals and carbon look for the trilobe grille, mirror covers and sideskirts. The car will only be available in three exterior colours, solid Alfa White, solid Alfa Black, or a metallic variant of Stromboli Grey.
Inside we find a flat bottom steering wheel, leather and alcantara seats with red stitching, carbon look finish on the dashboard contours and door panels, dark headliner and sports pedals. Additionaly, the limited edition comes with a 10 speaker Bose High Performance Sound System, ‘Veloce’ interior badge and premium floor mats with red ‘Giulietta’ logo.
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce S Edition is already available in the australian dealerships from $45,400 MSRP plus on roads, offering $6,900 worth of extra equipment for only $3,500.
