Ford Fiesta MK6 ST VS VW Polo IV GTI

In this rivalry, we compare two very popular B-Segment hot hatches from the 00’s. On the left, the Ford Fiesta MK6 ST/XR4 that launched in 2004 with a naturally aspirated 2,0 liter engine, praised for its great handling capabilities. On the right, the VW Polo IV GTI debuted in 2006 with a turbocharged 1,8 liter engine and was also available in a more practical 5 door bodystyle. Both cars had a power output of 150 hp / 110 kw, and featured sporty bodykits that distinguished them for the base versions. The Ford Fiesta ST received a facelift in 2006, however it featured only minor cosmetic changes with different headlight and tailight graphics. On the other hand, the VW Polo IV GTI was exclusively based on the facelifted Polo.

So lets start with a design battle before we move on to their specifications.
