Mini John Cooper Works Knights Edition

MINI USA announced another special edition model based on the Cooper S, which will premiere at the 2018 Los Angeles International Auto Show on the 28th of November, together with customized accessories of the MINI Yours range.

The Mini John Cooper Works Knights Edition features a number of accessories that distinguish it visually from the John Cooper Works model.

It will only be available with “Midnight Black” exterior paint, combined with “Melting Silver” roof, mirror caps, unique bonnet stripe and side stripes and “Piano Black” exterior trim (headlight, grille and taillight surroundings, MINI logos, door handles and fuel filler cap). Additionally, it is equipped with JCW Exhaust Flap System and dual Chrome Exhaust tips.

The MINI John Cooper Works Knights Edition is fitted with the same turbocharged 2.0 liter engine with the Cooper S F56 JCW, producing  170 kW/231 bhp of power and 320 Nm of torque. Performance figures remain unchanged with 0-100 km/h acceleration in 6,1 seconds and a top speed of 246 km/h (153 mph).

The car will be available to order at dealerships across the United States in the first quarter of 2019.

Alongside the special edition of the hot hatch, Mini will also showcase the Countryman Yin Yang Edition, Clubman Starlight Edition and the John Cooper Works International Orange Edition.
