Peugeot 308 GTi by Clemens Motorsport
The turbocharged 1.6 liter engine originally produced 270 hp / 200 kw and 330 Nm of torque, but Clemens Motorsport offers three levels of upgrades with higher power outputs for the front wheel drive hot hatchback:
- Level 1 (optimization of the ECU) – 290 hp / 213 kw and 360 Nm of torque
- Level 2 (intercooler kit, diver-air valve, high-performance air filter) – 303 hp / 223 kw and 380 Nm of torque
- Level 3 (new air filter and 70 mm stainless steel exhaust system) – 310 hp / 228 kw and 400 Nm of torque.
The tuner didn’t announce any details on the performance specifications however we expect it to be slightly faster than the 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6,0 seconds and the top speed of 249 km/h (155 mph) of the factory stock model.
Visually, the tuned hot hatch is fitted with red 19 inch or 20 inch CC-Zero alloy wheels by Schmidt Revolution and sits on 235/35 tires, which is more than enough to distinguish it from the stock car.
As a reminder, production of the Peugeot 308 II GTi is currently paused, however we expect an updated model to arrive at the Paris Motorshow in October 2018.
