German tuner Clemens Motorsport that specializes in Peugeot, Citroen and DS cars, is now offering tuning packages for the Peugeot 308 II GTi.

The turbocharged 1.6 liter engine originally produced 270 hp / 200 kw and 330 Nm of torque, but Clemens Motorsport offers three levels of upgrades with higher power outputs for the front wheel drive hot hatchback:

  • Level 1 (optimization of the ECU) – 290 hp / 213 kw and 360 Nm of torque
  • Level 2 (intercooler kit, diver-air valve, high-performance air filter) – 303 hp / 223 kw and 380 Nm of torque
  • Level 3 (new air filter and 70 mm stainless steel exhaust system) – 310 hp / 228 kw and 400 Nm of torque.

The tuner didn’t announce any details on the performance specifications however we expect it to be slightly faster than the 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6,0 seconds and the top speed of 249 km/h (155 mph) of the factory stock model.

Visually, the tuned hot hatch is fitted with red 19 inch or 20 inch CC-Zero alloy wheels by Schmidt Revolution and sits on 235/35 tires, which is more than enough to distinguish it from the stock car.

As a reminder, production of the Peugeot 308 II GTi is currently paused, however we expect an updated model to arrive at the Paris Motorshow in October 2018.
