Description

The Citroën Xsara was a C-segment car produced by the French automaker Citroën from 1997 to 2004. The Xsara was a development of the Citroën ZX and Peugeot 306, which shared a platform and running gear The car received a facelift in 2000 and was replaced by Citroen C4 in 2004.

The performance version was the  Citroën Xsara VTS that used a naturally aspirated 1998 cm3 engine producing 167 hp (123 kw) and 193 Nm of torque.

The Xsara World Rally Car, based on the road-going Xsara hatchback but ultimately having very little resemblance to it under the skin, was one of the most successful cars ever to compete in the World Rally Championship
