KIA Pro Ceed II GT
The KIA Pro Cee’d II GT (3 door) and KIA Cee’d II GT (5 door) were launched in 2013 and 2014 as the first performance-oriented vehicles and the first “hot hatches” to come from a Korean manufacturer.
Both models use a turbocharged 1.6-litre T-GDi Gamma Engine producing 204hp (150kw) and 265Nm of torque. A six-speed manual transmission sent the power to the front wheels resulting to a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7,7 seconds, and a top speed of 230 km/h (143mph). The suspension in the GT models had been modified for a more agile and sporty ride, as well as the steering and the brakes.
Visually, the car was distinguished by a unique bodykit with larger air intakes, front splitter, gloss black grille with GT badging, LED daytime running lights, side skirts, twin exhaust pipes and 18-inch wheels. Inside it came with sport seats upholstered in leather and suede, red accents and a GT badge on the bottom of the steering wheel.
