Lancia Delta III 1.8 Di Turbo-Jet
Description
In September 2006, Lancia announced the revival of the Delta name, with new cars to be built on the Fiat C platform. The new Lancia Delta (Type 844) was unveiled at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show.
The fastest and most powerful version of the Delta III was fitted with the 1.8 Di Turbo-Jet producing 200 hp (147 kw) and 320 Nm of torque, combined with a 6 speed automatic transmission or a Sportronic 6 gear automatic transmision. The engine combines petrol direct injection, turbocharging and an exhaust and intake double continuous phase transformer. The car could reach a maximum speed of 230 km/h and needed 7.4 seconds for the 0-100 km/h sprint. It is also equiped with electronic suspensions with a variable damping system (Reactive Suspension System).
