Description

The first generation Peugeot 308 is a C-Segment car launched in 2007 as a replacement for the 307.

The first performance version of the model was the Peugeot 308 I 1.6 THP 16v launched in 2007. It was fitted with a turbocharged 1.6 liter engine producing 175 hp (128 kW) and 240 Nm of torque. The engine was combined with a 6 speed manual gearbox allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 8,3 seconds and reach a top speed of 225 km/h (140 mph).

Visually the car was distinguished from its larger 17 inch wheels. In 2010, Peugeot launched the Peugeot 308 I GTi, fitted with a more powerful version of the same engine.
