This is my beloved Citroen C2. It’s a 54 plate and has currently covered 128K miles. I originally purchased it for my wife in April 2012, as she wouldn’t drive the Subaru Legacy Outback we had and I was struggling with illness to drive. I’ll be brutally honest, I really didn’t like the car at all when we first got it. So, I’ve spent the past 6 years turning it into something I do like, to the stage where it is definitely the most fun to drive car I’ve ever owned. Which does now means my wife won’t drive it, so she’s now got a C4 Picasso (AKA my daily…)

It is a love hate relationship though as many things have gone wrong with the car since I’ve owned it, including the cambelt snapping, exhaust snapping 5 days before a show, starter motor having gremlins etc and an engine bay fire in the summer. But, everything has been relatively easy to fix (including fitting a new head to the engine). All the work below has been done by myself, apart from fitting the lowering springs.

Below is a complete list of what I’ve done so far to the car:

Body Work/Exterior

Zunsport lower grill, OEM GT upper grill, 4 X Ring Microline Spot Lamps mounted on a custom made Lamp Bracket, fog lamps replaced with Ring Angel Eye Spot Lamps (Angel eyes run as DRLs), Morette headlights (including custom wiring for DRLs), Custom wiring loom made so that all front lights are illuminated on main beam, removed side VTS badges, Team Heko Wind Deflectors with colour coded pin striping, Colour coded wing mirror caps, M3 Crystal Rear Lamps, RSR Rear Spoiler, Extra Short Aerial, Rear Tow Hook.


Matt bronze 16X6.5J Bronze Borbet RS, Nankang NS2 Tyres, colour coded bolt caps.

10mm Hubcentric Spacers, Eibach Sportline Springs, Lego Dustcaps,  Brembo disks and pads all round, painted calipers.


Sportex manifold with Powerflow Twin Exit Exhaust, BMC CDA Induction Kit with custom silicone pipework and custom decal, colour coded Rocker Cover, with custom made decaland Fuse Box Cover, Badass Alloy Battery Box Cover, custom made exhaust manifold heat-shield, Alloy Catch Can, Stainless Steel Bolts, colour coded Washers, colour coded conduit.


Dimma Show Cage fitted with 2X fire extinguishers, custom made C-Pillar Brace (from a Fiat Punto), custom made false floor in boot hiding two tool boxes and sub/amp, leather steering wheel cover, polished alloy gear knob, carbon wrapped interior door handles, gear gaiter surround and head unit surround, gauge pod with volt meter and clock, black-out blinds in rear, Nextbase 212 dash-cam, Parrot Mini-Kit handsfree kit, Coin pods front and rear.


Kenwood DPX-701 Double Din Head unit, KSC-SW1 Sub/Amp Combo in boot, KSC-SW11 Sub/Amp Combo under driver’s seat, Alpine SXE Speakers (1750s Front with separate tweeters, 1350s Rear). Separate wiring loom built to run this as the OEM one wasn’t up to the task.


Custom made roof tray with more lighting, interior retrim and various other ideas that are just in their infancy at the moment.
