Suzuki Swift Sport Katana limited edition for Netherlands
Suzuki unveiled the Swift Sport Katana, a special edition of the japanese hot hatch limited to 30 units exclusively available in Netherlands.
The car features a unique livery inspired by the Suzuki Katana motorcycle which was launched in 1981 and returned with an all new generation in 2019. Two paint options are available, including the Premium Silver Metallic (15 units) or the Super Black Pearl (15 units) combined with red finish on the front grille and special graphics on the bonnet, profile and roof.
Complimenting the looks of the pocket rocket, the 18 inch OZ alloy wheels are finished in black, fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires.
Inside, we find leather upholstery with contrasting red stitching, Katana badges (steering wheel, sport seats, doors and floor mats) and the serial number of the car which is also visible on the roof above the C-pillars.
Besides the cool visual tweaks, Suzuki also fitted the car with a more aggressive suspension setup with lowered and adjustable springs, and added a strut bar for improved handling.
There are no modifications under the bonnet where we find the turbocharged 1.4 liter K14C Boosterjet engine producing the usual 140 hp (103 kw) and 230 Nm of torque. However, there is a new Remus cat-back exhaust with balck crhomed tailpipes, offering a better sound experience.
The Swift Sport Katana costs €28,999 in Netherlands and potential buyers should act fast, because the 30 unit production won’t last long.
