Unique Audi A1 Sportback “1 of 1” tuned by ABT Sportsline

Racing driver and Youtuber Daniel Abt presented his new Audi A1 Sportback “1 of 1” – a very special project completed with the help of ABT Sportsline that transformed the German supermini to a crazy hot hatch.

Starting with the underpinnings, the car is fitted with a tuned motorsport-spec four-cylinder 2.0 TFSI engine borrowed from the Audi TT Cup racecar. The turbocharged four-cylinder motor produces more than 298 kW / 400 hp of power and 400 Nm of torque which is an impressive boost compared to the Audi A1 40 TFSI tuned by ABT). A straight-pipe exhaust provides a proper soundtrack and tuned suspension by H&R improves the handling of this pocket-rocket.

We don’t have any information on the specs but we are sure that the car will be significantly faster than the stock A1 40 TFSI which accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6,5 sec and has a top speed of 235 km/h.

Visually, the A1 1 of 1 looks like a WRC racecar thanks to the wide and aggressive custom bodykit and the unique livery with black and red graphics created by Erik (@ArmenianPetrolhead).

At the front, we find a new bonnet with numerous intakes, a very large splitter and additional wings on the front bumper with blacked-out grille and LED headlights.

The most striking element is the wide fenders with integrated air intakes, which add 55 mm to the body. Rear doors are completely covered so the car is now a proper 3-door. The forged 19″ rims finished in black make a great contrast with the golden rings in the background and the red-wall Michelin tires.

Moving over at the back, there is a huge rear wing, tinted taillights and a custom diffuser with golden accents, housing a set of enlarged round tailpipes.

There are no pictures of the interior but as we can see from the video the cabin is full of Alcantara upholstery (on the dashboard, and the flat-bottom steering wheel) while it is fitted with special racing seats and a full roll cage.
